Dan Orr -Risks in Scuba Diving

Risk defined:

a situation involving exposure to danger or

The intentional interaction with uncertainty

Risk perception:

The subjective judgement people make about the severity and/or probability of a risk and may vary from person to person or dive buddy to dive buddy.

In this captivating presentation, Dan pointed out that when SCUBA risks are managed, diving is inherently safe, but it can be unforgiving of mistakes!”
