Richmond Dive Club meeting minutes: Meeting @ O’Toole’s Forest Hill Avenue

Meet and greet from 6 until 7.   Mark club president called meeting to order at 7:00

Medical minute:  Vertigo & Scuba Diving (Lowrey Holthaus)

State of the Bay:  (Peyton Williams)

Peyton spoke about the key indicators that point to the health of the Bay.  He walked club members through the 2018Health Index explaining the grades and how they'd changed over the years.  


He finished by mentioning the 10 million Trees Partnership and the Oyster Alliance 10 Billion for the Bay.  


So, what can you do to help???

      1. recycle oyster shells
      2. become an oyster gardener
      3. eat locally grown oysters
      4. advocate for investment in oyster restoration
      5. volunteer for oyster restoration
